Ferag announces the merger with MakroSolutions. This strategic merger aims to further build on the strengths of both companies in the graphic arts industry and offer their customers an expanded and more innovative service portfolio.

The merger with MakroSolutions, brings additional expertise and resources in automation, robotics and digitized processes to the Ferag family. This synergy will allow Ferag to expand its capabilities in the use of leading technologies and serve its customer base with enhanced services and customized solutions: Across plants and technologies.

“By joining forces with MakroSolutions, we can offer our customers even greater added value by further expanding our solutions and our excellent service,” says Tommaso Ramundo, CEO of the Ferag Group.

Gideon Martz, new Managing Director for Graphics Group-wide at Ferag, adds: “This merger not only means an expansion of the portfolio, but also a strengthening of our capabilities to meet the needs of our customers in an ever-changing world.”

As part of this merger, Ferag is introducing Matthias Höwer as the new Managing Director Intralogistics for the Central and Eastern Europe region. With over 10 years of experience as a managing director in intralogistics, he has extensive expertise in the successful implementation of projects in the areas of industry, production, retail and e-commerce in both small and large companies. “I am convinced that together we will positively shape the future of our customers through our flexible, expandable solutions, enabling them to respond to the ever-changing market requirements”.
