Initiative for Science-Based Targets Confirmed

Support for the 1.5-Degree Path in Climate Protection

Endress+Hauser has reached another milestone in the area of sustainability: The Science Based Targets Initiative has confirmed the Group's greenhouse gas reduction targets. Both the medium-term target for 2034 and the net-zero target for 2050 are therefore in line with the 1.5 degree pathway of the Paris Climate Agreement and correspond to current scientific findings.

New Managing Director

Change at Liquid Analysis

Dr Thomas Buer will become the new managing director of Endress+Hauser Liquid Analysis on 1 October 2024. He succeeds Dr Manfred Jagiella, who is retiring at the end of September after 17 years at the helm of the competence center for liquid analysis.

Endress+Hauser has once again demonstrated its commitment to innovation. In 2023, the company launched 20 new products and introduced over 1,100 new device options. The measurement and automation technology specialist’s customers also benefited from new tools and improved processes. The people behind these advances were honored at the annual Innovators’ Meeting at Messe Basel.

Acquire Key Supplier

Endress and Hauser plans to take over Swiss Angenstein Estech AG, including the company’s production site in Cernay, France, Estech Industries Angenstein SA, succursale de Cernay. Representatives of both companies have signed a memorandum of understanding. All workplaces at the metal processing company are to be retained.

Completion of Fundraising Campaign

Third Water House in Vietnam

Hundreds of employees participated in the Endress and Hauser Water Challenge during the anniversary year, undertaking joint activities and collecting donations for a good cause. The proceeds from the campaign were earmarked for two water projects in Vietnam.
