Weidmüller Reaches Billion Euro Turnover

At the beginning of November 2022, the Weidmüller Group exceeded the sales mark of one billion euros for the first time in the current fiscal year. The company is optimistic about the further course of the current year and forecasts a growth of overall more than 20 percent for the fiscal year 2022 compared to the previous year.

The company was able to successfully meet the continuously increasing order backlogs despite a challenging sourcing situation, which resulted in the record turnover in the fourth quarter. “Our sales expectations were not only met, but even exceeded,” says a pleased Volker Bibelhausen, spokesperson for the Executive Board and Chief Technology Officer, and looks optimistically into the future: “We are confident that the excellent order books will continue to give us a tailwind despite the tense situation on the energy markets.” Overall, the growth of the internationally electrical engineering supplier thus reflects the continuing positive trend in the electrical engineering and automation industry.
