The LMT Group has appointed Joachim Dittrich, CEO of Fette Compacting, as CEO of mLMT Tools.
Joachim Dittrich will temporarily take over the responsibilities of Daniel Ehmans, who left the company at the end of September 2024. Dittrich will hold this position until a successor is appointed. “We would like to thank Daniel Ehmans for his dedicated efforts, and are very pleased that Joachim Dittrich, an experienced manager within our group, will support us in the strategic realignment of LMT Tools,” said Klaas Borchert, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the LMT Group.
Joachim Dittrich is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in production and special machinery manufacturing. His responsibilities as CEO of Fette Compacting and Managing Director of the LMT Group remain unchanged. Born in Hamburg, he took over the leadership of Fette Compacting in 2020 and played a key role in driving forward the company’s strategic realignment.
Dittrich assumes leadership of LMT Tools during a time when the company faces special challenges. “Together with my colleagues Roland Benter, CFO of LMT Tools, and Oliver Thomas, Managing Director of LMT Fette Werkzeugtechnik and LMT Kieninger, we aim to reposition LMT Tools strategically. Even during a challenging economic phase and a stagnating environment, we see the opportunity to successfully lead the company into the future based on our extensive expertise,” Dittrich explains.
“Our goal is to develop innovative and value-adding solutions for our customers by focusing on our strengths. I look forward to working successfully with the very experienced and dedicated team at LMT Tools. Together, we will continue to develop the company,” Dittrich concludes.
